Early Reader Program
About the Program
Do you have young readers in your life, ages 7-13?
Would you (or they) like to play an important role in an author’s publication process?
Look no further! The WhipSmart Books Early Reader Program invites parents, teachers, librarians, and young readers to read draft manuscripts of upcoming books and provide comments and endorsements. We value the feedback of our early readers, and honor their contributions on the Acknowledgment pages of our books.
We’re currently seeking early readers for Frankie and the Gift of Fantasy (publication in fall 2020) and Tales by Moons-light: Stories from before the Great Melt (publication spring 2021). These thrilling science-rich adventure books, like all WhipSmart books, are aimed at raising scientific literacy in kids. By sparking children’s natural curiosity, we empower them to adapt, thrive, and lead in a rapidly changing world.
Active participants in our Early Reader Program will get FREE paperback copies of the books when they come out.

How did you hear about the program? From a teacher at my daughter’s elementary school.
Why do you want to participate? I’m the mother of an 11 year-old girl who’s a voracious reader. I think she’d love the chance to be part of an author’s writing process.
